Little Inventor Arthur on the season finale of Gardener's world on BBC1!

View original

Arthur was one of the 16 little inventors who saw their inventions made real for the North 2030 Challenge - his Supergrow 11000 is a clever rail track that reacts to the sun to keep plants in tiptop condition! Arthur was inspired by his passion for gardening, itself fuelled by his love for Gardener's World.

We met Arthur at the launch of the Great Exhibition of the North in June 2018 and we were so impressed by how he approached his invention idea - bringing together the two things he loves most, gardening and astronomy. It was a bit of a star turn for Arthur who went on BBC Breakfast and BBC Radio Newcastle!!

But it would not be understanding what an incredible force Arthur can be if you think the story stops here. After all this, Arthur took it upon himself to get in touch with Gardener's world to tell them about his invention! And they loved his passion so much, they decided to feature in none other than the season finale of the show this year.

How incredible is that! We are super proud of him and can't wait to see what he will do next - Monty Don, you have some serious competition!
